WALLACE, David - Putnam

Funeral services for David Wallace, 90-year-old Civil War veteran and highly respected farmer of Jefferson Township, were held from the B rick Chapel Church near Belle Union this morning, followed by interment in the Stilesville cemetery.  Mr. Wallace died at the home of his niece, Mrs. Katherine Callis in Martinsville at 3 o’clock Monday morning.  Mr. Wallace had spent much of his time for the past few years in Memorial hospital and in sanitariums at Martinsville – kbz
